After attending a new school each year from kindergarten to high school, J. J. found her way to the Philadelphia High School for Girls then Cabrini University. After earning her BA in Education and secondary education teaching certification, she continued her education with master classes at Lincoln University, and writing classes with The Institute for Children’s Literature and Institute for Writers. Life took over as a single mom of two and a business owner while her writing began to grow and collected. Within the chaos of single mother-hood she managed to show her children the world they are a part of and their importance within it. As her young adult children thrive, she took the opportunity to complete my MA in Creative Writing and English at Southern New Hampshire University.
